What is the application process?

Credit review, employment and residency verifications and criminal background reviews are conducted by a third party after you have submitted a completed application. We require current proof of monthly income at least 3x the monthly rent of your selected apartment.

An Applicant(s) is required to pay a security deposit at the time of lease execution. A $300 to $500 security deposit is required depending on the floor plan.

What is included in the rent?

Monthly rent includes valet trash removal, pest control, all maintenance and all amenities.

Are you a gated community?

Yes. We have controlled access to the community.

What is your pet policy?

Pet Fee (non-refundable) $200 per pet.

Pet Rent $20 per month/per pet.

Temporary and/or visiting pets are not allowed. We accept only dogs, cats, birds and fish. No exotic pets, rodents, reptiles, etc. allowed. Two animal limit per apartment. Breed restrictions apply. 75 lbs weight limit for all dogs.

Can I apply online?

Yes! Choose the “Leasing Info” tab at the top of our website. Under leasing info select the option of “ready to apply to the future resident waitlist”. Please read the future resident application instructions and click “apply now”. Here you will find a list of floor plans within our community, select “join waitlist” on the floor plan of your choosing. You must register as a new user and follow the instructions to submit your application & payment. There is no service charge to submit your payment using the E-check option.

A variety of lease term options are available. Please contact the leasing office for current lease terms and pricing.

What is your Electric Utility provider? What is the average utility cost?

Florida Power and Light (FP&L).

Individual utility cost will vary due to apartment size and location and personal usage. Please contact FP&L for an average cost for any specific apartment.

Who is your cable and internet provider?

AT&T

Do you have direct access garages?

No, the garages are accessible from inside the building breezeways. They are not connected to any specific apartment. Detached garages are also available.

Nearby shopping?

Retail shopping facilities are located within close distance from The Carlton of West Melbourne. There are numerous retail stores located around this major 1-95/Palm Bay Road intersection. This includes Target, Khols, Ross, hhgreg, Marshalls and Michaels located at the Hammocks Landing Shopping Center, less than a mile away.

A Publix Supermarket is also located in this retail center. A Wal-Mart Supercenter is located just a half mile east and BJ’s is located just east of the Walmart. An LA Fitness Center is located on the north side of Palm Bay Road and a Bass Pro Shop is located at the intersection. The Melbourne Square Mall is about 3 miles north. This mall is anchored by two Dillard’s stores, J.C. Penny, Macys, Dicks Sporting Goods and it has 150 other stores.
